Shriekback: Samples

Shriekback were not directly involved with the making of the music in this section, but in each case someone of fine taste saw fit to sample them and incorporate them into another song. Allegedly. (I haven't heard most of these myself so I can neither confirm nor deny).

Various Artists: The Wishing Well

• A charity record in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
  
  
• Shriekback are listed as contributing 'chorus vocals', but not only do they deny all knowledge of it, they were at the time very opposed to charity records and so would not have participated. Therefore we can only assume either that they were sampled without permission, or (more likely) that they were listed on the sleeve without actually being on the record.
